This policy explains what information Minor League Trivia (“the site,” “we”) collects, how it's used, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

To let you play the Daily Grid, Trivia, and Higher/Lower without creating an account, we set a single first-party cookie containing a randomly generated, anonymous device identifier. That identifier is used to remember your streaks, past scores, and in-progress puzzles. It is not linked to your real name or any other personal information unless you voluntarily provide one below.

Two things on the site are entirely optional and provided directly by you:

• A nickname, if you choose to opt in to the public leaderboard. Nothing else about you is ever shown alongside it.
• An email address, if you choose to opt in to a streak-reminder notification. This is used solely for that purpose and is never sold or shared with third parties.

Advertising and cookies

Minor League Trivia may display advertising served by Google AdSense and other third-party advertising vendors. These vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this site and other sites on the internet. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

Analytics

We may use privacy-conscious analytics tools to understand aggregate traffic patterns (e.g. how many people play the Grid each day) and to improve the site. Any such service is used in a way that does not identify you personally.

Your choices

You can clear the site's cookie at any time through your browser settings, which will reset your streaks and history and generate a new anonymous identifier on your next visit. You can remove your leaderboard nickname or unsubscribe from streak-reminder emails at any time by contacting us.
